New feature of Google Maps

It's called "Distance Measurement Tool" , and enabled me to map out the walk I took this morning. Notice, in addition to the route, the calculated distance of the walk. Pretty impressive and something I will use to map out my walks wherever I happen to be. You can click on the small image below to view a larger one.
